    As a non-registered provider, Sam is currently able to see plan-managed and self-managed participants of the NDIS.

  • Medicare

    If your child is currently under the care of their GP and two or more other allied health providers, they may be eligible for partial rebates for up to 5 sessions. Contact your child’s GP to discuss eligibility for Team Care Arrangements or the Chronic Disease Management plan.

  • Private Health Funds

    If you are a member of a private health fund, contact your provider to see if your policy covers speech pathology. If so, let Sam know the details of your health fund provider and she will take care of the rest.

how soon can i book in for an assessment?

Please reach out via the contact form and Sam will advise her current availability. If Sam is unable to offer anything in the short term, your name will be put on a waitlist. If the nature of your requirement is urgent, Sam will endeavour to provide you with names of other local providers who may be able to assist you sooner.

how long will treatment last?

This depends on the nature of the difficulty and the extent of the person’s support needs - and it can vary from person to person. The recommended ‘dose’ or frequency of therapy will be explained to you once the assessment has been completed and a therapy plan has been recommended.

do i need a referral to book an assessment?

The short answer is no - you do not need a referral from your GP or specialist to book an assessment. However, in some cases you may require a referral from your GP to be eligible for services that attract Medicare rebates. can i receive speech therapy via telehealth?

Yes! Sam is able to see clients Australia-wide via Telehealth. As long as you have a camera, a microphone and a stable internet connection, you’re good to go!
